Shortage of skilled professionals: lots of unfilled vacancies and a long wait for new employees
The DMEXCO trend survey at the start of 2022 showed that the shortage of skilled professionals is currently the hot topic in the communications industry. A new, representative online survey conducted by Civey on behalf of DMEXCO has now confirmed that there are currently job vacancies in almost half the companies of the marketers and communications experts surveyed. It is taking many companies five months or more to fill positions, and job ads are still frequently being used for recruitment.
