Digital creativity – a top trend with a dedicated summit

DMEXCO co-hosted the Creativity Summit this year with the German Digital Award (DDA) and the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW). This illustrated once again the importance of creativity in marketing and communication – and that artificial intelligence cannot replace human ingenuity, but may well take it to new heights. A range of sessions on the topic of digital creativity were held as part of the summit, including:

Panel: “The State of Digital Creativity”

Brand strategies in the face of new, AI-driven ecosystems took center stage in this DMEXCO 2024 panel, with a focus on the possibilities of this new era of digital creativity. LinkedIn is undoubtedly the most important platform for corporate influencers. In her keynote, marketing expert Britta Behrens (Nerds) gave an overview of how LinkedIn has changed in 2024 and what really counts for marketing and sales strategies on the platform.

Head of Corporate Influencing Nina Killes (The People Branding Company) explored the major hype topics in the marketing and HR sectors in her keynote. In addition to the summits, the Agencies Stage offered a broadly diversified program covering the hottest topics. This included the panel with Claire Gleeson-Landry (Good-Loop), Christian Künitz (Essencemediacom Germany), Brenda Tuohig (Scope3), and Seb Joseph (Digiday). They explored how agencies can help companies to adopt more effective sustainable practices.
