DMEXCO experts know that the Congress Stage is the core of the DMEXCO Conference. The leading minds of the international digital industry will discuss future trends and present their own milestones, innovations and visions on this stage. With over 1,600 spectators, the Congress is one of the largest stages of the conference program and has already attracted top industry names including Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, Jack Dorsey, Twitter CEO, and Bob Greenberg, Founder & Chairman of R/GA, to Cologne.

The Conference Team is currently working hard on the program to surprise visitors with exciting speakers and sessions once again on September 12 and 13.

True to this year’s DMEXCO motto, Take C.A.R.E., DMEXCO aims to arouse curiosity, raise awareness for change, appeal for industry responsibility and inspire the creation of special experiences with its Congress Stage program.

Take C.A.R.E. stands for Curiosity – Action – Responsibility and Experience.

Trending Topics

In the run-up to DMEXCO, the entire team is conducting lots of talks with online marketing experts, exciting brands and a wide variety of company managers. In addition, we receive hundreds of content suggestions for our Stages, Seminars and Work Labs, and we get a good overview of what is currently driving the industry:

  1. Artificial intelligence
No longer a vision of the future, but an increasingly integral part of our lives, offering opportunities for companies to better understand and respond to the needs of consumers. Intelligent advertising, AI in art and music, AI as a supposed job killer – AI is everywhere, and definitely also a topic on the Congress Stage.
  2. GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation
Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation has been in force and is a huge legislative project, which at the moment still means uncertainty and a lack of clarity for all companies. Will the feared horror scenarios come true, or will consumers perhaps not make use of their new rights at all? DMEXCO will take stock of the situation so far in September.
  3. Voice
Digital assistants are in vogue and are changing search behavior and influencing brand management more and more. In the future, companies will also have to consider language-based searches and deal with how brands sound. They are facing a new challenge that should be tackled as soon as possible. This is definitely another essential topic for DMEXCO 2018.

The Congress Stage is located in Hall 9. Be there and get inspiration, experience innovation and discover trends at DMEXCO 2018, in Cologne on September 12 and 13.
