DMEXCO partners with Unilever Foundry to launch start-up innovation showcase

DMEXCO today announces the launch of the 2018 DMEXCO and Unilever Foundry Start-up Hatch, where start-ups and entrepreneurs will pitch to a panel of world-leading innovation experts.

In collaboration with Unilever Foundry, a global platform for startups and innovators to engage and collaborate with Unilever, 20 founders will be selected to take part in a series of pitches. They will present their innovations live on the big Debate Stage in front of a top-class jury of industry experts, investors and potential partners.


With applications now open until August 31st 2018, start-ups are invited to showcase their innovation in the areas of Products & Ingredients, Consumer & Market Intelligence, Marketing, Adtech and e-Commerce, Social & Sustainability Tech, Enterprise Tech and Disruptive Business Models. Alongside the opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of leading experts, the winning start-up will receive a €15,000 cash prize from Unilever Foundry.


This year’s jury will include include start-up experts from Unilever Foundry as well as investors from Lakestar, Cavalry Ventures and Project A.


The Start-up Village offers the perfect environment for high-potential start-ups to meet with investors and business leaders. Now an integral part of DMEXCO, selected start-ups will be given the opportunity to present their ideas to investors, companies and business angels. 2018 will also see DMEXCO host the “SevenVentures Pitch Day”, aclaimed by Forbes as one of the most important start-up competitions worldwide. This competition is aimed at start-ups that are already in a more advanced phase of company development andare exploring areas to scale.
