It’s light and simple with no frills. What you don’t immediately notice is that it includes comprehensive data. We are talking about the new DMEXCO app. Just released for download on the relevant platforms, it includes the ticket key for the two event days on 11 and 12 September in Cologne. And it immediately opens up access to the network.
“We have thus taken a big first step forward in offering a 360° event 365 days a year,” says Chief Advisor Dominik Matyka. “However, our backlog still includes more than 100 tickets, which we will be implementing over the next days and weeks to round off the offer.”
"It is our wish to offer the digital marketing community a place where all participants have their own profile and can use it as a key to connect with each other"
“It is our wish to offer the digital marketing community a place where all participants have their own profile and can use it as a key to connect with each other,” explains Matyka. For the beginning, focus was placed on scheduling, the agenda and contacts. “Targeted networking is possible here,” he says. Deals and other benefits will also be added in the future.
It is very easy to register using the ticket and app. In addition to all the exhibitor data, the streamlined app also offers all conference topics and dates for the two event days in September. With as single click, you can add presentations to your own agenda to create a schedule for the event. “Extension to include other events is conceivable,” adds Milko Malev, Director Marketing & Communication at DMEXCO.
The constantly updated hall map is integrated and the overview of all exhibitors is sorted in alphabetical order. Of course it is also easy to use by topic and via full-text search. If you are looking for exhibitors, you will quickly find them here. On 11 and 12 September, contact can also be made right at the stand. To do this, scan the QR code at the stand and contact all stand staff within seconds to make an appointment or request callback. It’s hard to imagine a higher level of service.
One’s own profile can be set up quickly including contact data, biography, topics and interests. This is the best prerequisite for successful networking, which no longer has to take place only on the two days of DMEXCO in Cologne. “We want to promote constant exchange among ourselves and offer a space for it,” says Milko Malev. This includes sharing experience with e-commerce, new VR technology and modern ad spending with AI among many other topics.
It will be easy to achieve this on 11 and 12 September during DMEXCO in Cologne. Simply scan the QR code of each other’s badges to constantly expand your network to include interesting partners. “We want to ensure that the network remains lively especially after the two DMEXCO days,” says Matyka of his goal.
The app is worthwhile right from the start, as it includes news and background information on all digital business topics. More than 500 DMEXCO stories, downloads and podcast episodes are already just one click away.
