This year Broadway itself will be travelling to DMEXCO. Yext founder and CEO Howard Lerman transforms the Congress Stage into a musical stage during his keynote speech on the first day of the fair (11.09., 5.30 p.m. – 6.15 p.m.). Together with the international Broadway actors Laurel Harris (Wicked), Nick Choksi (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Chelsea Turbin (The perfect Murder), CJ Eldred (Rock of Ages), Samantha Massell (Fiddler on the roof) and composer Peter Lerman as well as a band, Howard Lerman takes a musical look into the future of Search Engine Marketing. Titled “Who Killed Dominik Matyka?”, the entertaining presentation shows how new search options such as Voice Search change user expectations and at the same time increase the complexity of search queries.
Howard Lerman, Yext Founder and CEO: “In a new and exciting way, we will show DMEXCO visitors how online search will change in the future – and thereby draw attention to a paradigm shift that is still causing many question marks, but already plays a crucial role. We’ll search for Dominik’s murderer together – and we will reveal details about the new online search behavior. Our goal is to entertain and inspire the community!”
Dr. Dominik Matyka, Chief Advisor of DMEXCO: “At DMEXCO we often have creative highlights and special keynotes that stay in our minds. This one concerns me personally. Not only because it’s about me, but because I’m a huge fan of musicals and New York. In addition, the topic of Voice, especially with regard to Voice Search, is very relevant right now – therefore I’m very curious to see how the topic will be adapted and which lessons the DMEXCO community can learn from it.”
“The DMEXCO Conference Program has always stood for diversity and extraordinary moments. With the DMEXCO Musical with Yext, however, we are adding something new this year. To approach the topic of Search Marketing with a musical shows how creatively and colourfully we can stage the digital industry and what impulses are hidden in our community,” adds Judith Kühn, Director Conference of DMEXCO.
