#1 Why do you want to be a part of DMEXCO @home?
In unprecedented times such as these, it is more important than ever that we still find ways as an industry to collaborate, to learn, to enhance creativity and to keep all that is great about the industry alive. Enter DMEXCO. An event that has always fostered these values and brought the industry together. So, when asked to participate virtually this year, we didn’t hesitate to seize the opportunity.
At Twitch, we know online mass gatherings well. Since 2011, Twitch has been making it possible for anyone, anywhere in the world, to find their community online, whether that’s connecting over gaming, music, or sports, for years. Attesting to this, Twitch has unparalleled time spent and engagement, and our users demonstrate a level of loyalty and commitment seen nowhere else.
During the event, we will demonstrate how your brand can make a real impact, reaching the hardest generation to reach; reaching the unreachable. We want to show you the real Twitch. For some it may be an introduction and for others it will mythbust potential preconceived ideas. But most importantly, we want to show how your message can not only grab the attention of a generation that has seen everything, but be embraced by them so that your brand can be a part of their lives.
#2 What product are you going to present at DMEXCO @home?
Aligning with our goal of making Twitch an essential partner for brands, we will hold sessions to demystify Twitch. We will help those that have barely heard of the platform before to get to grips with what Twitch is and how it works. For those that are already familiar with Twitch, we will progress to the next level and dive into integrated advertising solutions. All of this will be topped off with a number of tips for brands to make the most out of their advertising strategies.
#3 Which features (masterclasses, spaces, sessions, etc.) are you going to make use of and how are you integrating those into your general marketing concept?
We are planning three activations – a lecture session on tips for advertisers to effectively advertise on Twitch (“Sweet Streams Are Made of These”), and two masterclasses: “Twitch 101”, for those unfamiliar with Twitch and need to get to grips with the basics, and “Twitch: Leveling Up”, for those familiar with Twitch, who have potentially worked with us before and want to understand the more integrated advertising solutions.
#4 What are your expectations for DMEXCO @home?
We expect to accomplish our goal: a much clearer view of Twitch and its audience for both our existing and new partners. We hope they will leave with a better knowledge of how to use Twitch to enhance their brand message and engage the Gen Z audience.
