Kevin Cochrane was appointed to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), SAP Customer Experience, in February 2018, bringing over 20 years’ experience in the digital experience and digital marketing space to the job. He started his career as co-founder of Interwoven, where in partnership with leading eCommerce vendors he created the Web Content Management (WCM) market and helped CIOs around the globe move their business to the Web and drive online revenue. An early pioneer in the open source and open standards movement as VP Product Marketing for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) leader Alfresco and later Day Software, Kevin is known as an executive who sees market opportunities and executes quickly on his vision.
As CMO of Day Software, Kevin led its worldwide expansion targeting CMOs. After selling Day Software to Adobe Systems, Kevin was responsible for unifying Adobe’s enterprise business with the launch of the Adobe Marketing Cloud. Since Adobe, Kevin has been focused his vision for the creation of the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) market and the unification of CRM and the martech stack for CIOs and CMOs to drive new customer experience initiatives. As a long-time champion of SAP and SAP Hybris, Kevin is now committed to making SAP the undisputed leader in the CRM and customer experience space.
As an avid runner and native Bay Area resident, Kevin is currently training for his next marathon. He holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
